JAIPUR RUGS

Conceived as a contemporary tribute to Jaipur’s rich architectural legacy, the Bengaluru flagship store for Jaipur Rugs reinterprets traditional Rajasthani motifs through a clean, modern spatial language. The central design intervention is an undulating, rose-hued curved partition wall clad in fine vertical fluting. Evoking the iconic vernacular of the Pink City, this sculptural structure carves the expansive floor into fluid galleries, using contemporary reinterpretations of traditional jharokhas and scalloped cusped arches to frame sightlines and draw visitors into a tactile journey of craft. 

 

Every architectural element is carefully calibrated to let the handcrafted carpets take center stage as works of art. White walls, seamless muted micro-concrete flooring, and directional track lighting create an open, gallery-grade atmosphere where intricate weaves, textures, and dye gradations can be appreciated under true light. Complementing the pink terracotta tones are hand-carved white marble surfaces from sculptural bas-relief floral partition walls and fluted reception counters to custom low seating platforms. Integrated artisan storytelling, weaving artifacts, and lush indoor planters complete the experience, transforming a retail visit into an evocative celebration of Indian heritage, materiality, and contemporary luxury.
